Lochwinnoch CDT Local Groups/ Orgs Survey |
*Deadline extended to 10th May*
Lochwinnoch Community Development Trust (LCDT) is a community led organisation managed by a group of local volunteers. It aims to develop projects that create social, economic and environmental benefits for people living in Lochwinnoch.
LCDT is thinking about where to focus its efforts over the next few years and wants to hear from local groups and organisations about what’s important in Lochwinnoch and what the priorities for action should be.
As a source of income to fund groups and projects in the village, LCDT is considering taking over the local water abstraction business as a community owned resource. The current abstraction by Eden Springs amounts to 3 tanker trips (90,000 litres) per day for 5 days a week, although the abstraction licence allows for up to 430,000 litres per day. The current 90,000 litres a day is believed to generate an income of £40,000 - £50,000 a year. LCDT will only proceed if the community supports this idea.
Please take a few minutes to fill in this short survey. Your views about Lochwinnoch and the water project will help shape the future direction of LCDT and the activities that will develop and support.
All information gathered will be kept confidential. The survey can also be accessed online here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/Lochwingroups and will be open until 30th April.
If you have any questions please contact Victoria at Community Enterprise, an independent social enterprise we have commissioned to help us with this research, on 01506 862227.
Note: All survey responses (including those collected on paper) are recorded on Survey Monkey whose privacy policy can be viewed here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/mp/legal/privacy-policy/.
