Great Oakley Community Hub Ltd (GOCH) was set up initially in 2015 to take community ownership of the Maybush Inn in Great Oakley. Having gone from strength to strength, it now intends to expand its remit and look to provide good quality sustainable and affordable housing and accommodation to local residents in Great Oakley and the closely connected parishes of Little Oakley, Wix and Beaumont.

To ensure the housing is matched to the local need, and with the support of the various parish councils, GOCH has decided to work with RCCE (Rural Community Council of Essex) to undertake an independent Housing Needs Survey.

If you, or anyone else living in your home, is in need of alternative housing in the parish or have moved away and wish to return to live in the above parishes, we would urge you to please complete this survey. Please complete one form per household in housing need.

This survey does ask for some sensitive information, but this is treated confidentially and individual responses will not be shared with anyone other than the Rural Housing Enabler. Only anonymised and aggregated information will be passed to Great Oakley Community Hub.

The deadline for completing this survey is end of Friday 18th February 2022.
Thank you for taking part in the survey.
