We need your thoughts and ideas!

The National Federation of Parks and Green Spaces (NFPGS) is a networking organisation speaking up for our vital public green spaces. It was set up by and for the Friends Groups’ movement. Our members are the area Forums of such local groups.

We aim to support the great work you are doing throughout the UK!

NFPGS is beginning to expand and become more effective and would like your thoughts on how best to support and involve our member Forums in this process – particularly in our national meetings and in the emerging regional networks.

Here are some of the suggestions so far; Grass Roots, Grass Roots Action, On The Ground.

We would almost certainly keep a strap line "the National Federation of Parks and Green Space Community Forums" - to explain exactly what we do.

Do you have any other suggestions to add to the list?

Key words to be aware of are; volunteer, friends, grassroots, community, green spaces, open spaces.

Later this year all the best suggestions will be sent out for a vote.
