Whitchurch-on-Thames Village Plan Update 2018

As a resident of Whitchurch-on-Thames, your input is required for our 2018 update to our Village Plan. The last Village Plan was developed  by our community in 2009. That plan provided a vision for our future and had 22 recommended actions, of which:
- 11 have now been completed, such as taking ownership of the Village Green and developing our village web-site
- 9 have been partially completed, such as improving signs, pavements, and street furniture
- 2 that we were unable to complete, including having a 20 mph speed limit in the village
The 2018 Village plan update will look at:
- Which of these 22 actions we still need to take further
- What new initiatives we should address
- How have we changed as a village
An on-line version of this survey, the 2009 Village Plan, and further information about the 2018 plan update activities can be found on the Village Plan section of our website at:
or https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/villageplan2018
We are also planning 2 open days where representatives from the Village Plan Team will be available to answer your questions:
- Saturday, 12th May 12th at the Village Hall, 10:30am - 1:30pm
- Saturday, 19th May at the Art Cafe, 10am – 12:30pm
For consolidation purposes, our preference is that you and all family members complete the on-line survey that can be found at the links above. If you prefer to fill out a paper copy, please provide your completed survey to our Parish Clerk:
Felipa House, 23 Swanston Field RG8 7HP
The online survey will go live leading up to the first Open Day on 12th May and will close Sunday, 24th June .
