CAN  was set up in 1951 with one of our primary purposes being to work with Village Halls.  Over the years we have accumulated a large collection of documents and photographs linked to the history of the County's village halls and the contribution they have made to the life of their communities.  We also work with a vibrant networ of former and current volunteers who have dedicated so much time to running these vital community organisations.

As we are approaching our 70th Anniversary, we would like to work with  you to  develop a Heritage Project, celebrating the history and culture of Northumberland's village halls.

We would be grateful if you could spend a little time filling in this questionnaire so we can find out if there is sufficient interest in this project, and to get your ideas as to the direction it should take.

Thank you.
