We would like the views of people aged 18+ who look after someone unpaid who may be sick, have a physical or learning disability, mental ill health, frailty, or a drug or alcohol problem. This may be a child, partner, parent or other family member, friend or neighbour.
You may be providing care to them on a daily basis or caring from a distance.
Whatever your circumstances we want to hear about the things that are working well for you and the things that aren't, so that we can plan for what you need to help you care well and look after your own physical & emotional health and wellbeing.
The information you give us is anonymous and will only be used for the purpose of developing a new Carers Strategy for South Tyneside.
If you would like further information, advice and support about your caring role, please contact South Tyneside Adult Carers Service (STACS) on 0191 4061531 or South Tyneside Council on 0191 4246000.

We will publish the results of our survey during March on the Council's website at: www.southtyneside.gov.uk. Thank you.
