Personality, freelancing and the gig economy |
Introduction
Today, many people have a job in the 'gig economy', working as self-employed freelancers or contractors.
We want to find out how personality affects the way that people feel about working in the gig economy. Whether you are a gig worker, an employee with a regular job, or combine the two, we are interested in your views. All data collected from the survey will be entirely confidential and will be used purely for research purposes. Storage of this data will adhere to the Data Protection Act 1998.
We will use the results to develop guidelines for helping gig workers and to understand if and how they differ from employees in permanent jobs. A summary report of the results, including practical hints and tips, will be published on www.opp.com in early 2018.
As part of the survey, we will ask you for your MBTI type. You may already know this; if you do not, there will be a few additional questions for you to complete.
