The Parish Traffic Problem

Charminster Parish Council is preparing a strategy for the parish to establish local ambitions for changes to address concerns about traffic and parking, to better prioritise walking and cycling, and protect what is distinctive to Charminster, Charlton Down and Forston.

To start this process, we would like to hear your views, opinions, and ideas.

Working with consultants NEW Masterplanning and Sustainable Street Design, the Parish Council is holding a drop-in event at the Community Hall on 19th January 2023 between 2pm and 8pm where you can come in at any time to share your thoughts and understand more about the project.
