One Place East wants to support the creation of a new network that brings disabled people and those with lived experience of mental ill-health together to improve wellbeing through creative and cultural activities.  

 

The network will offer peer support and help members build social connections with people with similar interests and passions. The focus of network activities will be led by its members and could include crafting, painting, and drawing, creative digital media, literature, poetry, script writing, film making, photography and performance arts. It’s all about having fun, learning and sharing skills.

 

Members of the network will have access to free courses in being a trainer and group facilitation skills if you are interested in leading sessions and running workshops.
