We want to hear about your experiences of kinship care in 2018

Whether you’re new to kinship care, or have been looking after a friend or relative’s child for a number of years, we want to hear from you.

Our yearly State of the Nation survey will help give us a better picture of what it’s like to be a kinship carer in 2018, and to gather evidence of where more support and understanding is needed of kinship care.

Questions will cover your children, your health and well being, finances, and support needs.

If you’ve done the survey for us in the past, you might recognise some of the questions; this allows us to keep track of any changes or improvements. Please fill out this year’s survey even if not much has changed for you since doing the last one.

Your answers will help inform our work so we can develop services to better support kinship carers, raise awareness of kinship care in the media and allow us to continue to influence improvements in for policy and practice surrounding kinship care.

The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Please give as much detail as possible so we can better understand your experiences as a kinship carer.

All your details will be kept confidential and stored securely, and we won't share your information with any third parties.

Thank you!
