As part of its SHIFT programme, Wiltshire Creative are offering £5000 funding for emerging companies (no more than 6 years’ professional activity) to develop a piece aimed at young people. Although the piece can be for any demographic from toddlers to teenagers, the piece should respond to the challenges and issues facing young people in contemporary society and should resonate with their experience.

Along with funding, the selected company will receive in kind support (to be agreed with Wiltshire Creative) in the form of space, technical support, photography, marketing and an industry sharing event to be arranged in conjunction with the successful company/artist.

Budget

We request that you attach a draft budget to your application. The development funding is worth £5000. Space (for example but not limited to - workshop, rehearsal, office, studio), technical support and other mutually agreed in-house support will be provided in-kind. In-kind support will be available during 2021 at mutually agreed times.

You can provide additional funds from elsewhere, but please clearly state where this comes from, how much and whether or not it has been confirmed.

Wiltshire Creative will want to ensure all collaborators are paid fairly, please indicate who you would be working with and fees you would propose.

Along with this form, please send a draft budget to dave.orme@wiltshirecreative.co.uk (applications without budgets will not be considered). You may also send any supporting documents, including letters of support and links to videos and photos.

Submission Deadline: 22nd March 2021

If you require a word document version of the application form, please email Dave Orme (Associate Director) at dave.orme@wiltshirecreative.co.uk.

Please note: this online application form will not automatically save your responses, so we recommend creating draft responses on a word document and then copy and pasting responses when you are ready to complete the form in one go.
