Public Consultation 11th - 26th July 2019

The proposed re-development of Seven Brethren aims to improve the existing character of the site by re-instating its historic green setting. The design of the scheme has been led by a landscape approach that allows the residential development to sit within generous areas of community green open spaces.

Water, drainage & contamination: a new flood defence bank is proposed to mitigate the existing flood risk and the creation of new sustainable drainage features will ensure that the site drains to avoid any impact on the surrounding areas. Contamination will be mitigated by importing new soil throughout the development, to ensure there is no risk of future users coming into contact with contaminated soils.  Do you have any further comments about these issues?
