As we approach the summer holidays, Cumbrian schools and colleges are already planning for the return of children and young people in September.

People First and the Local Authority in Cumbria have developed two surveys, one for parents and carers and one for children and young people.

This survey is for the parents and carers of children and young people who will be returning to nursery, school, college or a placement in September.

We want to know:
  • What are your worries and anxieties?
  • What do you need to know before your child or young person returns to school or college?
  • Are you worried about the transition?
  • Are you anxious about your child or young person using school transport?

Let us know, so we can address your concerns and act upon your advice.

These surveys will run for several weeks, during this time it is important that we collect the views of as many people as possible.

People First will then collate all the responses and produce a report. This report will go to local Primary & Secondary School Head Teachers and the Local Authority and will provide a clear indication of areas that we need to focus on and get right for all our families, children and young people in Cumbria.

We are looking forward to reading your responses and using them to make a difference in Cumbria.

Please note that we do not collect any personal data or information and that all responses are anonymous.
