Help UKRI build a website that works for you
We’re building a single UKRI website to replace the websites of the 7 research councils, Innovate UK, and Research England.
How you can help UKRI
How you can help UKRI
The new website needs to work for you, our users, so we need your feedback to help us know what works, what needs to change, or what’s missing. You can help us to achieve this by becoming a user research participant.
What we need from you
We would like up to one hour of your time where you use the website and share your thoughts with a UKRI user researcher. The testing session will be done remotely online.
We are more than happy to work around your schedule and can arrange a time that suits you.
How to become a participant
You can sign up to be a participant by completing a short questionnaire. It only takes a few minutes to complete and it will help us tailor any future research session for you.
We may not be able to contact everyone who registers their interest, however, there is an option in the questionnaire to remain on our database for future testing sessions.
The information you provide on this questionnaire will be kept for the purposes of developing the UKRI website. Your personal information (Qs 2-7) will not be used for any other purpose, and will be anonymised in the results analysis. We will keep the information you provide in this questionnaire for one year.
If you are willing to take part in future testing (as per Q14) UKRI will store the information you provide so we and our contracted digital agencies can contact you about future testing sessions. In this case, we will keep the information you provide for three years and it will not be used for any other purpose.
If you would like your data to be removed from our user testing database at any point, please email email@example.com.
Your information will be treated as strictly confidential and handled in accordance with the provisions of the current UK data protection legislation. Further information on how we use personal data, and how you can exercise your rights as a data subject, can be found in the UK Research and Innovation Privacy Notice (https://www.ukri.org/privacy-notice/).
