How about encouraging your friend to take that leap of faith? During the nominations period, many students will already be looking to run for a position in the elections - but plenty more might be unaware that they have what it takes to lead their union, or represent students.
We think it'd be a great idea for you to encourage the people who you think have the potential or skill set to run for a position to do so! Sometimes a little eye-opening encouragement is all that's needed to give people the confidence to put themselves forward.
This form is for you to tell us who you think would do a great job as one of our full time SU Exec Officers or as Chair of Union Council. It's totally anonymous, and you can recommend as many students as you like.
We'll get in touch with them personally and let them know someone thinks that they can make a difference and give them a bit more info about how to nominate themselves.
