'Real' Problem solving in D&T: Looking at the Bigger, Social Issues

Traditionally we are not used to looking at the bigger issues, the social issues, the things that are actual, big, real problems in school.
These are ‘risky’ issues which push teachers, students and other stakeholders to the edge of their comfort-zone.
By actually tackling and attempting to problem solve these issues, we could potentially revolutionise design and technology in schools… We want you to get involved, with the support of your school, and to try something a bit new and a bit different. Be prepared to succeed but be prepared not to!
