WeChat The Chinese communicate using social media and rarely by e-mail.  It is unlikely that an e-mail sent to a Chinese company will be answered.  WeChat is the most common platform used and there were more than one billion active users by the end of 2018.  It can be downloaded from Android or Apple app stores.  It also has an instant translation feature that means that you can write messages in English that will be translated into Chinese, and messages you receive in Chinese can be read by simply holding your finger on the message and choosing “Translate”.  Without a WeChat account this exercise is unlikely to be successful. If you don’t have a WeChat ID now, please download the app and provide us with your WeChat ID.
