Are you the top of the toppings? Are you ace of the base? The quest to find the nation’s finest pizza professionals is back…

Open to chefs across casual dining and quick service restaurants, pubs, bars and hotels, this is your chance to showcase your perfect pizza to the industry and win £1,000 while you’re at it.

To enter, chefs need to submit the recipe and method behind their most popular pizza on the menu – the one they’re most proud of and that customers can’t stop ordering. 

Once shortlisted, 16 finalists will be required to compete in a cook-off consisting of two rounds. They will firstly be required to cook their own pizza in front of our judges, before creating a technical pizza made up from a specific selection of ingredients that we will supply on the day.

Your pizzas will be judged on:
  • How the base/pizza is made
  • Flavour profile
  • How well the pizza is cooked
  • Aesthetic and presentation
  • Texture, quality and consistency
  • Choice and use of ingredients
The National Pizza Awards final takes place on Wednesday 3 October 2018 at the Islington Metal Works in London.

The closing date for trade entries is Friday 24th August 2018.
