We invite pharmacists to share their experience of safety in the workplace

The PDA (Pharmacists’ Defence Association) Safer Pharmacies Charter invites commitments from employers to ensure basic patient safety standards are met. This is the fifth patient safety survey calling on pharmacists to share their experiences. These findings will help us understand the current working environment for pharmacists.

We recognise that during this coronavirus pandemic, there have been exceptional conditions and causes for them, which may never be recreated. However, the situation faced in workplaces by pharmacists is nevertheless the reality of conditions this year, and our annual survey seeks to monitor the reality of continuing safety, which will include this unprecedented period. In order to allow ongoing year on year comparisons, our questions remain the same as last year. We have separately surveyed about pandemic specific matters.

Please provide your details below to add your voice to those that want to see all pharmacies meet adequate safety standards.

NB: Your responses to this survey will be kept anonymous. Providing your contact details is optional and in all cases, your identity will remain confidential. The survey closing date is Monday 7 September 2020.
