PFEW PAY AND MORALE SURVEY 2023

This survey asks about your views on life in the Police Service. In particular the survey will ask a number of questions relating to your morale and your pay and conditions. In line with the Police Federation of England and Wales's (PFEW) move towards running a single national members survey, this year's survey also includes a number of questions related to the demands  of your job, your workload and capacity at work, and your welfare. The findings from this survey continue to be invaluable in providing crucial evidence to support our ongoing national pay campaign in calling for fairer remuneration for police officers.

We greatly appreciate your time and support in filling in this survey - the more people that complete the survey the more strength it will give us to make people at the highest levels of policing aware of your point of view. The Closing date for this survey is Monday, 11 December, 2023.

All of the information you provide in this survey is completely confidential and your responses are stored and reported anonymously.

The survey includes a number of free text boxes where you can add your own text. When completing the free text boxes, you are asked not to name individuals or job titles or provide any other information likely to disclose the identity of individuals (either you or a third party) in your comments.

Data protection

For the purposes of data protection law, to the extent any personal data is collected or used in connection with the Survey, the PFEW will act as a controller of your personal data. The PFEW will process your data in fully in accordance with the law and with its privacy notice available here.

The PFEW will not collect or process any data concerning health or any other special categories of personal data. This is because all survey responses are anonymous. The PFEW will take steps to ensure that nobody is identified or identifiable from the survey responses they provide.
