LIEM has a new offer ... an opportunity for personal development using virtual classroom.

Each on-line session offers a short, sharp learning experience, focused on a specific skill or technique. Visual and creative, feedback from the taster sessions has been overwhelmingly positive. Participants comment on how surprised they are that it can be so engaging and memorable.

Group size is capped at 6. Participants get involved every few minutes, interacting through audio and using on-screen functionality. To join in, you simply need a computer and audio (hands-free phone or computer speaker).

Our events are facilitated by Diana Edmonds of Bridgford Consultancy who is COLF accredited (Learning & Performance Institute: Certified On-Line Facilitator).

Many of you know that Diana has personal experience in the libraries and information sector. Her company, Bridgford Consultancy, has for more than 10 years, delivered LIEM’s flagship leadership programme, ‘Motivate, Learn, Lead’. Diana is very enthusiastic about virtual classroom. She’s currently facilitating sessions for a blue chip company to develop senior executives as coaches.

For this introductory offer, until the end of July 2017, a one and a half hour training session is just £50 for members (£70 for non-members).  Full details will be circulated once we have ascertained the levels of interest.
