This year we're celebrating 60 years of Methuen Drama's Modern Plays by releasing new special editions of one iconic play from each of the past 6 decades. Beginning with Shelagh Delaney's A Taste of Honey in 1959, the series now includes over 1000 plays.

We're excited to celebrate our past as we look forward to the next 60 years and beyond, but we need your help! Our editorial team have had the tough job of whittling down the many, many plays from the series into a shortlist from each decade that we feel tell the story of British theatre over the past 60 years. Now, we’re asking you to vote on which of the plays you consider to be the most representative work of each decade.

Pick one play from each decade below and help us create our special edition box-set of 7 Modern Plays (A Taste of Honey will be the first volume), to be released later in 2019.

Remember to spread the word by sharing on social media and letting us know your thoughts @MethuenDrama
As a thank you for participating, if you enter your email address at the end of the survey you could be the lucky winner of a full box-set when it publishes in November 2019 (Prize only available for UK/US residents. Ts&Cs apply – see end of the survey).
