About this project

LimeCulture has been commissioned by Hestia and Mankind Initiative to develop quality standards for commissioners & services supporting male survivors of domestic abuse. Funded by a grant from the The Home Office, this project is supported by Galop and will see new victim led quality standards developed and rolled out across the UK.

For males who have experienced domestic abuse, these new standards will give a layer of reassurance about the quality of the services they are accessing at a time when they are feeling most vulnerable.

In order to support the development of the quality standards we are conducting a survey with male survivors to understand their views and experiences of support services.

This survey will be open for a 4-week period. The survey opens on 1 March and closes on 1 April 2020

Confidentiality

All responses to this survey will be treated in the strictest confidence and fully anonymised. You (or the responses you provide) will not be identifiable as part of this project.

Security

All members of the LimeCulture research team have enhanced disclosure barring systems (DBS) checks and experience of working with victims/survivors.

Responses will be stored in our secure data server in an area accessible only to the LimeCulture research team. All identifiable information will be deleted from our server when the research is complete at the end of April 2020
