If you are overseeing a volunteering initiative which involves students, we would be most grateful if you could complete the quick survey below.
Some guidelines which may be helpful to consider when completing the survey:
- Volunteering is the commitment of time and energy, for the benefit of society and communities (including the student/University community), the environment (including animals), or individuals outside one's immediate family. It is undertaken freely and without concern for financial gain. - Community projects which are related to a students’ grades e.g. research, placements etc. are not volunteering. - We do not require information on University-wide initiatives e.g. Peer Mentoring, Academic Reps, Green Impact Volunteers, QUB RAG (Raise & Give) etc. - Please include internal initiatives e.g. School Buddy Scheme, as well as external & fundraising / charitable initiatives. - There is space to provide information on up to 3 volunteering initiatives.
If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact Lucia Kearney (Volunteer SU Manager) on volunteer@qub.ac.uk or ext. 3951.
