Do you or your service work with domestic abuse survivors? Are you committed to ensuring that your service is inclusive and able to respond to the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT) people?

Then we want to hear from you!
We believe that every LGBT person experiencing domestic abuse has the right to receive a supportive service response regardless of which service provider they access. We know from our research and engagement with LGBT survivors that many face significant barriers to accessing support. We want to reduce those barriers by supporting professionals from across the domestic abuse and related sectors to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to proactively include LGBT people in their services and to better respond to their needs.

To achieve this, we are currently developing new digital training that will offer a blend of e-learning and interactive training. We want to ensure that the training is fit for purpose and responds to the learning needs of professionals.

That's where you come in.....

Whether you work in a domestic abuse or gender-based violence service or a related field such as housing, health or criminal justice; by taking part in this consultation, you will be helping us to identify the learning needs of professionals and your responses will inform content development of the training.

We will also deliver a short report outlining the findings of the consultation which will be available in the summer. Keep an eye on our twitter for more information - @lgbtDAproject

Please answer questions as fully and honestly as you can. We will not ask you to share your name or that of your organisation.

Thank you for participating.

Managed by LGBT Youth Scotland, the LGBT Domestic Abuse Project works across Scotland to raise awareness of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people's experiences of domestic abuse and to improve service responses to LGBT people who experience domestic abuse and other forms of gender based violence.
