We are pleased to invite you to participate in a Kudos focus group to be held during the 2016 Annual Meeting of the British Ecological Society.
We’re offering all participants a £20 Amazon or John Lewis voucher as a token of our appreciation for your time and contributions.
One of the founders of Kudos, Charlie Rapple, will moderate a discussion around questions such as:
- What kinds of outputs from your research do you share online?
- Who do you share them with – where and how do you manage your “network”?
- What tools do you use for communicating about your work?
- What kinds of metrics are you aware of / interested in?
The goal of the session is to combine participants’ ideas and experiences into an “impact checklist” to help participants, and researchers in general, maximize the visibility and impact of their work. The checklist will also help shape future features of the Kudos platform.
Date: Monday 12th August 2016
Times: 13:45 to 14:45 (lunch will be provided)
Venue: Suite 8 at The Jury's Inn, Liverpool (next to the conference centre)
