Bursary application for artists and producers to attend the IETM plenary meeting in Tromsø, Norway 30 April- 3 May 2020

As part of the British Council's mission to represent the UK in all its diversity, the British Council is offering bursaries for minority ethnic artists and producers to attend the IETM plenary meeting in Tromsø an important international performing arts networking event, in Spring 2020.

The IETM bursary will provide the opportunity to take part in all the associated IETM activities with a view to sharing gained experience and knowledge upon return to the UK.

Where and when?
IETM Tromsø takes place in Norway from 30 April 2020 – 3 May 2020.

What does the bursary cover?
Successful applicants will receive a £450 bursary each, and the British Council will book accommodation on your behalf. The bursary money can be used to contribute towards costs including (but not limited to) travel, daily expenses and show tickets.

Who is eligible to apply?
This opportunity is open to independent minority ethnic artists and producers working in performing arts. You should be based in the UK and not acting on behalf of an NPO or a regularly funded organisation.

Previous IETM bursary recipients are eligible to re-apply. We will support one person to attend IETM a maximum of two times through this scheme.

You must be available from 30 April–3 May 2020 (inclusive) and allow for appropriate travel time on either side of these dates.
