1. Full payment is required to confirm booking.
Payment details will be shared when your booking is confirmed. 

2. What happens if I cancel:
For all meetings and events, there needs to be an agreed ‘cancellation policy.’
Cancellation less than 10 working days prior to the event -  100% of the total booking value payable 
Cancellation over 10 working days prior to the event - 50% of the total booking value payable 

2b. Could Edinburgh Printmakers cancel my booking
In the unlikely event that Edinburgh Printmakers has to cancel your booking, you’ll receive all your advance payments, although Edinburgh Printmakers will not cover any other liability. However, Edinburgh Printmakers will only cancel if:
- The venue is closed or unavailable due to events beyond our control
- You, or we, become insolvent, or in the case of either company enters administration
- The persons associated with the booking and/or the purpose of the meeting might damage the reputation of Edinburgh Printmakers.

3. Can I change my attendee numbers
Yes, provided they do not exceed the maximum capacity for the room you will be hiring. If numbers are considerably reduced, Edinburgh Printmakers reserves the right to move your event to a more suitable room.

4. Catering
Please note that if you have any catering requirements (including tea/coffee/ water) this will need to be made directly through our onsite cafe, Café Ink. There is no kitchen access with any of our hireable spaces. Café Ink have a wide range of options available and are more than happy to discuss any requirements you may have. 5. General
Edinburgh Printmakers reserves the right at all times, under all circumstances, to refuse admittance or service to any person or persons considered undesirable. Edinburgh Printmakers cannot be held responsible for damage or loss of another parties property, however caused. Organisers will be liable for the cost of repairs carried out as a result of any damage caused to any part of the venue by negligence, wilful act/default of any person invited to the venue by you or your suppliers.Should you fail to correct any aspect of poor or unacceptable behaviour, you may be asked to leave the premises. Should this happen, no monies will be refunded to you.
Things to consider when hiring with Edinburgh Printmakers

Bookings
When booking a date at Edinburgh Printmakers for your event we can only confirm bookings one year in advance. Provisional dates can be accepted prior to this. Bookings should be confirmed within two months of the 12 months prior to the event. For provisional bookings less than one year in advance, bookings will only be held for a maximum of 4 weeks, then released. All bookings must be submitted on an official booking form. A deposit is required to secure a selected date.

Confetti
Please do not throw paper confetti anywhere on site. Candles/tea lights: No open flame is allowed at Edinburgh PrintmakersCar

Parking
There is no car parking at Edinburgh Printmakers.

Alcohol
Guests are not permitted to bring alcohol onto the premises.

Health & Safety
Please see Edinburgh Printmakers Health & Safety Policy. All electrical equipment brought on to the venue must have a current PAT test certificate or stamp. Edinburgh Printmakers retains the right to suspend or stop any activity being carried out if deemed dangerous to personnel or facilities.Music: Music should be kept to a reasonable level and reduced if requested by Edinburgh Printmakers staff.

Members Kitchen
No access to the Members Kitchen for those using hireable spaces, any catering requests must be directly organised with Portfolio Catering (Café Ink) prior to event.

Access to venue
Is provided from 0900 on the day of the event, unless arranged otherwise. All events must finish and be fully removed from Edinburgh Printmakers by the agreed departure time on the booking. Please use existing fixings and do not knock anything into the walls – no blue tag to be used. Entrance is through 2 Gilmore Park - the dedicated responsible person will be in charge of the correct use of the building, including directing participants to the right entrance.

Photography
If a photographer is going to be a part of your event, please inform Edinburgh Printmakers beforehand – to prevent possible copyright conflict. Smoking: Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside Edinburgh Printmakers.Responsible person: Please familiarise yourself with Fire Action and Evacuation signage on back of hire space doors.
