Introduction
Welcome to Inclusion International’s survey about self-advocacy.
We would like to build a picture about what self-advocacy is like around the globe. Whether you are an individual self-advocate, family member or part of an organisation supporting people with intellectual disabilities we want to hear from you.
We hope the information you provide will not only to help us spread the word about self-advocacy but also to create a hub of all things self-advocacy related. We want to hear about the areas you work in, different types of support you get or provide and about any useful resources you would be willing to share to help others further the inclusion agenda in their own countries. It will also help us shape our own strategy especially when we talk to decision and senior policy makers on the international stage.
We hope to share the results of the survey at the Shaping Our Future: National and International Forum in October being held in Florida
