Thank you for your interest in this research. You may be aware that in recent years there has been much discussion about how fundraisers need to be more focused on providing great donor experiences.

However, there appears to be little in the way of researched evidence that contrasts the views of fundraisers directly with the views of donors on the same issues.
Pentatonic would like to start addressing this situation with this small piece of research which we are conducting on a completely pro-bono basis.
In January 2019 Pentatonic commissioned research with ICM to better understand what the UK public considers to be important factors when it comes to receiving a great donor experience.
The results, gathered from over 2,000 people, provide a fascinating insight into what a 'great donor experience' really means from the donor's perspective.
We would now like to ask fundraisers the same set of questions we have asked the UK public. We will then produce a report comparing the views of fundraisers with the views of the general public. The results will provide an interesting insight into how well fundraisers really understand donors.
Our motivation for conducting this research is to help start building a stronger evidence-based approach when discussing what makes a great donor experience.
So if you fundraise for a UK charity, not-for-profit or educational organisation we would love it if you could spend 5 minutes completing this survey which closes on 28 February. Please feel free to share the survey with colleagues.

At the end of the survey you will be given the opportunity to leave your details to receive a free copy of our insights report containing observations and recommendations.

If you have any problems completing the survey please contact us using the details below.

Yours sincerely
