In March 2019 the Department for Education (DofE) announced Reading, whose application is supported by Wokingham and West Berkshire, received funding to open an autism and social, emotional and mental health school for pupils aged 5-19. Following the success of The Rise School, Ambitious about Autism Schools Trust are looking to provide high-quality education to more children and young people. We’re bidding to open the Special School in Reading and we want our bid to reflect local views, so we want to hear from you.
