Introduction

ontarget is Archery GB’s club development programme. This application is for the Community specialism.

Community Specialism

1. Read the characteristics and self-assess your club against these. Perhaps discuss at a committee or sub-committee meeting and gain other people's opinions.

The brochure containing the characteristics can be downloaded here: http://www.archerygb.org/clubs-facilities-development/clubs/specialisms/

2. Once you have completed the self assessment, you will be classed as a specialist club.

3. You should also look to create a plan of action to improve on the activities you supply to your members.

4. If you need help and support then contact your Local Authority Sports Development Officer, County Sports Partnership or the Archery GB - email: ontarget@archerygb.org

Clubs can complete the self assessment form straight away and there is no closing date. Clubs may take up to a year, or longer, in order to develop new activities and for the ethos of a specialist club to be embedded within the club.
