Introduction

Creative Scotland is the public body that supports the arts, screen and creative industries across all parts of Scotland on behalf of everyone who lives, works or visits here.

We enable people and organisations to work in and experience the arts, screen and creative industries in Scotland by helping others to develop great ideas and bring them to life.

We distribute funding from the Scottish Government and The National Lottery. You can find more information about our work at www.creativescotland.com.

Funding Review

We are exploring new ways to fund arts and creative activity as part of a Strategy Update and Funding Review.

In addition to a series of events being run across Scotland from May to July 2019, you can also have your say online on how Creative Scotland should distribute the money it receives from the Scottish Government and the National Lottery.

Through these conversations, we are seeking to:
  • Make our purpose and priorities clearer
  • Rethink how we use our resources to support creativity in Scotland
  • Make our processes more accessible and user-friendly
Key questions

We have structured the online conversation around two key questions:
  • What can Creative Scotland do for you?
  • How should Creative Scotland prioritise and deliver its funding?

You're welcome to contribute purely from your own experience and perspective. However, we also have additional information which may be of interest to you, including:
