1. Mapping the Corporate Experience of a More Volatile World

Thank you for agreeing to participate in this short survey to explore how firms with extensive international operations are being affected by, and responding to, higher levels of external volatility in the global business environment from politics and geopolitics.

Dealing effectively with the business impacts of political volatility is a new area in corporate planning and decision-making. We aim to use the survey to understand how volatility is affecting firms in different sectors and of different sizes, and ultimately to produce guidance on the frameworks, methodologies and tools needed to navigate these issues more effectively.

The survey is short - it should take no more than a few minutes to complete. It is structured around key question groups, which identify your organisation's exposure and perceptions of impact, internal response frameworks and methodologies, and perceptions of risk by external stakeholders.

This survey will yield most value if it is completed by a member of senior management with an overview of your firm's international business operations. If you do not feel as though you are the most appropriate respondent, we would very much appreciate if you could forward this message to the individual you feel is best-placed to benefit. This person could be a CEO, COO, CFO or Chief Risk Officer/head of Risk Management, or those in supporting teams such as Strategy, Financial Planning or Government Affairs
