The council has a fund from the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL), a fixed charge that councils collect from property developers to help fund infrastructure and improvement projects. That fund can be used to support local projects.
This questionnaire asks you about the spending priorities for parts of the borough you are interested in, such as where you live or work. It is also to make it easy for you to tell us about projects that you would like to benefit from CIL funding.
Horley, Salfords and Sidlow: In these areas the money collected into the CIL Local Fund is passed to the town or parish council. They are then responsible for deciding how it is spent. We will pass your views about priorities for local improvements and your project suggestions for these areas to the relevant council for its use.
