The FPA Catering Operator Award is presented to the caterer considered by FPA members to have been outstanding in their usage of packaging and relationships with their packaging suppliers over the last 12 months including:
ENVIRONMENT: initiating schemes and developing policies that contribute towards creating a circular economy for packaging. This includes the collection and sorting of packaging and working with waste management operators to enable packaging to be recycled
COLLABORATION: working with FPA Member distributors and manufacturers to help produce innovative packaging and solutions
GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS: lobbying government and others with regard to influencing legislation and policy concerning packaging
RECOGNITION OF THE ROLE OF FOODSERVICE PACKAGING as a key part of their operations.
INNOVATION: Developing new food and drink offerings requiring packaging to serve them.
EXCELLENCE: the desire for highest quality in the food and drink they serve and the packaging used to serve it.
