In January 2018 Castlefield Gallery, MCDC and Redeye, the Photography Network are partnering to put on Don’t Give Up The Day Job, a workshop exploring how artists, makers and photographers can ensure that their day job feeds their practice both creatively and practically. Ahead of the event, this research will give us a clearer understanding of ways people support a creative practice, and identify issues that might need further research.
We would love to hear from you if you have a creative practice which you support with any other employment, earned income or benefits, or if you simply do other work for variety or for creative inspiration.
