The impact of chronic and neurological illnesses on the health-related Quality of Life of carers

The University of Buckingham is conducting research exploring the impact of chronic and neurological diseases on the health-related Quality of Life of carer spouses/partners.
The questions in this survey will ask for:

  • Your age, gender, occupation, and details of the care recipient's chronic illness.
  • Your ratings of perceived Quality of Life, Anxiety and Depression symptoms and disorders, and Self-Compassion.

You must be a minimum of 18 years old to participate in this study. 

You must be the primary carer spouse/partner of an individual with any of the following chronic and neurological disorders*:

  • Spinal Cord Injury (SCI)
  • Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia
  • Cancer
  • Cystic Fibrosis
  • Multiple Sclerosis

*This list is not exhaustive

The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. Please not that you cannot save your responses and return to the survey at a later time to continue. The survey will be completed when you click 'Done' at the end.

Your responses will be entirely and anonymous, and you are free to withdraw from the study at any given point by simply closing your browser window. Please note that once you have submitted our responses, you will no longer be able to withdraw from the study as you're responses will not be identifiable due to anonymity.
