Annual Canvass 2017

We are looking to recruit people who are interested in working for Electoral Services to undertake this year’s Annual Canvass.

This involves door knocking on non-responding properties to obtain information in order to update the Electoral Register. The majority of this work takes place at evenings and weekends. If you are a London Borough of Bromley employee please note that, unfortunately, no time off work can be granted to carry out these duties.

This year the door knocking stage takes place between Thursday 28 September and Monday 6 November. Please note you need to be available for the entirety of this period.

Please note that as part of your duties you will also need to attend a training session on Thursday 28 or Friday 29 September before you collect your work (details to be confirmed if you are successful in your application).

If you are interested in working for us, please complete the following application by Friday 25 August 2017.

Further information can be found in the Canvasser Recruitment Information Pack, Job Description and Person Specification, which you can also download from www.bromley.gov.uk/AnnualCanvass

If you have any queries, or would like to discuss the role, please contact the Electoral Services Office on electoral@bromley.gov.uk or 0300 303 8665.
