Thank you for participating in the 2017 Americas Alternative Finance Industry Survey.

This study builds upon the success of our inaugural report, "Breaking New Ground," and will highlight the size, growth and key market trends of the online alternative finance market across the Americas, with a particular emphasis on the Canadian market.

The data collected will be handled with confidentiality and all data will be aggregated into a final report scheduled to publish in May 2017. The aggregate report will be disseminated freely across government, regulators, trade associations and major media outlets to inform policy and raise public awareness of alternative finance.

The survey should take approximately 20 minutes to complete, although it may require you to look up or add up figures from your business activity. Please note, any question with an asterisk (*) is compulsory. All participating platforms will be given the option to have their logo displayed in the final report.

The 2017 Americas Alternative Finance Industry Survey is being collected jointly by the Polsky Center and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School, and is supported by the National Crowdfunding Association of Canada (NCFA)

The survey is a part of the global alternative finance benchmarking research, which includes the Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the United Kingdom. Past reports produced by the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance and its partners have received immense policy attention, as well as more than 200 mainstream media citations globally such as The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, and Bloomberg.
