There are nearly 800,000 disabled children in the UK. Last year Contact a Family helped nearly 340,000 families. We want to help more parents and increase the level of support we are able to give. We want to be there for all who need us, whatever the need is, whether it's battling inadequate services, trying to make ends meet or simply trying to get a good night's sleep.
To do this we need to raise more money. At the moment a lot of our funds come from a very small number of sources, which can change each year. This makes it hard for us to plan and often means services keep stopping and starting as funding changes. To help us provide the level of service families want, and need, we are looking at different ways of raising money.
One of the ways we are exploring is to offer people a range of events and also ideas for fundraising activities they could put on themselves. We are keen to get your opinions on this. We want to understand what you might like to do to support Contact a Family and also what you wouldn't.
We'd be really grateful if you could take ten minutes to answer some short questions. All responses will be anonymous. Thank you.
