OK The Council is proposing to exempt some people from the requirements of the orders, which means that the individuals listed below do not need to comply: Anyone registered as a blind person in a register compiled under Section 29 of the National Assistance Act 1948. Anyone who has an accredited assistance dog trained by a prescribed charity and upon which he/she relies for assistance; or Anyone who is deaf, in respect of a dog trained by a prescribed organisation and upon which he/she relies upon for assistance would not need to comply with the requirements.
