Introduction

Breckland Council would like to hear from local residents about your experiences of using our website. Previous experience of using Breckland’s website is not a requirement.

User testing is being carried out in Dereham on the 20th July by City University (London). You will be asked to use the website and share your experiences with an assessor. For example, you will be asked how easy you find your way around the site and completing common tasks. The assessment will take around an hour.

To put yourself forward for this user testing, please complete the following application form. Please note that not all applicants will be invited to the one-to-one testing sessions. We will be selecting people based on the answers they provide to ensure our user testers represent the council’s local population. The information you provide in this application will only be used by the council for this purpose and will not be shared with other organisations. We will contact applicants within a few days of receiving their application.

Before completing the form, please ensure that you will be able to attend one of the one-hour user testing sessions at the council's head office on Walpole Loke in Dereham. These will be held between 2pm and 8pm on 20th July.

To cover travel costs and expenses, people selected to take part in one-to-one user testing will each receive a £25 Amazon voucher. Most importantly, this is an opportunity to shape how future versions of Breckland’s Council’s website looks and feels, so we can make it as user-friendly and useful as possible for the residents and businesses we serve.
