The survey

This survey is aimed at assessing the current and potential use of the one concentration approach in fish bioconcentration (BCF) studies, particularly in relation to the scientific barriers precluding its wider application. We welcome responses from those working for companies which sponsor/conduct fish BCF studies i.e. those developing and/or manufacturing agrochemicals and industrial chemicals and contract research organisations. Your feedback will be important to demonstrate the impact of our work as part of our quinquennial (five yearly) review*, which will take place later this year. It will also be used to inform next steps when progressing our work in this area.

The survey should take less than 15 minutes to complete. Please answer as many questions as possible with as much information as possible. Questions preceded by * require an answer to proceed. All data collected in this survey will be anonymised and treated in strict confidence. The NC3Rs data management plan for this survey is available on request by contacting natalie.burden@nc3rs.org.uk. Data will be generated, collected and handled in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) data protection policy. The lawful basis for this work is as a public task with the purpose of conducting research.

Please complete the survey by 31 October 2019. We very much appreciate the time and effort taken to complete this survey.

* This is an external scientific review to look at all areas of the NC3Rs – the overall quality, impact, and productivity (past and future potential) – and the results will be used to make decisions on our future level of support, funding and resources.
