This survey is aiming to find out if there is a demand for a shared work-space in Assynt, to act as a social meeting place as well as a practical hard-wearing work place.
Given the effect of recent years on all our mental wellbeing, this could be a good place to chat and catch up with others, while working on DIY projects, or to meet up and do a joint DIY or crafts project together, or to teach each other skills etc.
The suggestion is that there could be specific times set aside, eg.  for people to attend with others of their own gender only, in line with the men's shed idea.
If this community work-space idea is popular, there are various local groups who could work in partnership to try to make it happen.

(The findings of the survey, anonymised of any personal info given, will be made available to the public including through a link on the local facebook group.)
