Suicide is the biggest single killer of men aged under 50 in the UK. To help tackle the high suicide rate in the male population, Grassroots Suicide Prevention is delivering a new street art suicide prevention campaign in Brighton & Hove. We want to break down the stigma around suicide and help men feel more able to reach out to others about their thoughts of suicide. In town, we want to encourage friends and family members to have open, direct conversations about suicide.
