Album of the Year 2017

Hi there! Below is all the 42 releases in the 2017 Scots Trad Album of the Year. After you have listened to all the albums, come back to this survey and mark each of them out of 10. If you have any comments note them below in the text box. You can come back and edit this poll until you have finished and then you will not be able to edit any more. I'll be shutting this poll on the 23rd September. This will choose our top 20. I will then come back to you in October to decide your top 10. The public will also make a decision on this top 10 and I'll add the two marks. I know this is a difficult job and I really appreciate the work. Listen to what you can but don't give yourself a hard time if you don't manage to listen to everything.

Criteria:

Albums eligible for entry are those released between September 2016 and August 2017. The longlist (20 releases) will be decided by an industry panel.
The shortlist (10 releases) will be decided by 50% industry panel and 50% public.
The winner will be decided will also be decided by 50% industry panel and 50% public..
An album is a collection of new material. Collections including greatest hits are not eligible.
Albums can be on CD or download only.
An album must have more than 6 tracks.
Only albums within the folk / trad genre are eligible for this award.
Albums must be releases by an artist living in Scotland for 5 years or Scottish by birth.
Decisions made by Hands Up for Trad are final.
