Adult Learning Awards 2020

We are now collecting nominations for our Adult Learning Awards 2020. Please complete this form to nominate a learner whose story of learning will be inspirational to others who hear about them. We want to hear the very best stories about adults of every background, age and stage who, through learning, have transformed their own lives and the lives of their families, the communities they live in and the place they work.

The individual may have:
  • Learnt new skills for personal or professional development
  • Achieved something they never thought was possible
  • Completely transformed their lives and the lives of those around them.
Eligibility
Learners must have taken some of their learning with Buckinghamshire Adult Learning or with a sub-contractor between September 2019 and May 2020 and must demonstrate the positive impact that learning has had.

There is no limit to the number of nominations that one nominator can make.
Nominations for individuals that have been nominated in previous years will be accepted.
Your nomination will give the learner recognition for their outstanding achievements, boost their self-confidence and will celebrate the positive impact learning has had on their life. A number of shortlisted learners will be invited to attend our awards ceremony in June 2020.

Nominations are sent to a selection panel of judges. All winners are selected by the panel, which assess each entry based only on the information provided on the nomination form.
