What do you celebrate about the place you live in? Basildon’s 70th birthday year is a great time to remember and celebrate what’s been achieved since the new town was created – and the people who have made things happen.

It is also a perfect time to think about what needs to be done next to make our borough even better for all our residents – and those who work and visit here.
