City of Wolverhampton Council is preparing to create a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) under The Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 to control certain dog-related behaviour in the city.
The PSPO (click the link to see it) will replicate and consolidate the previous four Orders (click the link to see them) made in 2007 and will make slight modifications by increasing the number of arterial roads that dogs are required to be kept on a lead and create new controls for dogs in the vicinity of schools. Please read the following summary, and state your view on the questions.
We will collate and review all feedback provided to us during the consultation period (2 June - 14 July 2017). This will help to inform the final strategy that is due to be considered by Cabinet on 19 July 2017.
